Rickard El Tarzi

Rickard El Tarzi is CEO of Flat Capital, a publicly listed investment company backing exceptional founders and high-growth businesses in the Nordics and globally.

He joined Flat Capital from Olink Proteomics (now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific), where he served as Chief Strategy & Product Officer from 2020. His remit spanned the organisation, from R&D to corporate strategy, and he drove the strategic agenda behind the company’s Nasdaq New York IPO and its subsequent sale to Thermo Fisher. He previously worked in private equity at Summa Equity and in strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company.

At Flat Capital, Rickard pairs operating experience with an investor’s perspective and has a particular understanding of the opportunities created by breakthrough technologies in biotech, life sciences and healthcare.
