Filip Karlsson

Filip is a biotechnologist with 10 years R&D experience developing molecular tools and tests for research use and diagnostics. He is passionate about developing innovative molecular assays and tools that can be leveraged to advance the understanding of health and disease. He especially enjoys the interface between molecular biology and data science and is inspired by being part of talented multidisciplinary teams.

Filip previously held scientist and leadership positions at Vanadis Diagnostics (acquired by PerkinElmer), developing the Vanadis NIPT in-vitro diagnostics platform. Before that, Filip held a scientist position at Halo Genomics (acquired by Agilent Technologies), developing next-generation sequencing library preparation assays. Filip has a Master’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Uppsala University.
